At Denver Families Action, we are more than just an organization – we are a dedicated community-driven force committed to ensuring that those most impacted by the decisions of DPS leadership – families, students, and teachers – have their voices heard. Unfortunately, it has become clear that current DPS leadership is unwilling to listen to those voices. 

 

That’s why Denver Families Action wants to hear from you! 

Whether you're a DPS parent, family member, student, or teacher, or a concerned Denverite who cares deeply about the future of our city’s public schools, we want to hear from you! Film a <1 minute video of yourself responding to one or more of the following questions: 

 

1. What disappoints you about current leadership? How could community engagement be more authentic?

2. How have the decisions of the Denver Public Schools Board of Education affected you?

3. What would you like to see changed moving forward?

4. What's the top issue the DPS School Board should focus on? 

 

Submit that video on this page, and we’ll post it on our social media channels. 

 

Some best practices: 

• Shoot all videos on an iphone vertically

• Plain backgrounds and plain clothing work best, and filming outdoors is nice too if it’s not to loud/windy 

• Filming can be done by someone or filmed as a “selfie” 

• Videos should be no longer than 1 minute - the shorter tends to perform better
